“Sleeping Beauty” opens in Illinois


On April 20 and 21, Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, Illinois presents Sleeping Beauty to over a thousand children. In this sixty-minute comedy with audience participation, a surly villain shares the true tale of “Sleeping Betty.” Her version includes a multilingual, magical frog, a clock that controls time, a perfectionist princess, and a birthday party invite snub that creates a lifelong vendetta.
