"The Ugly Duckling" plays in Ohio

Actors’ Theatre of Columbus’ Globe School for Kids presents The Ugly Duckling on May 23 at Schiller Park Amphitheatre Stage in Columbus, Ohio. In this large-cast ten-minute play for young performers of varying levels of acting experience, the legendary duckling who is different takes flight to discover her true identity, new friends, and ultimately self-acceptance. “Sleeping Beauty” plays in Florida

Seaside Repertory Theatre in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida presents Sleeping Beauty on Wednesdays in March through August. In this audience-participation hour-long play for families, a comically misunderstood evil fairy recounts how the loss of her prized frog and a snub at the biggest birthday bash in the kingdom sent her down the path of revenge. “Story Stew: A Fairy Tale Revue” returns to Texas

Midway High School in Waco, Texas once again presents Story Stew: A Fairy Tale Revue running May 11 through 15. In this sixty-minute large cast comedy for all ages, the old woman who lives in a shoe has a whole lot of children, all of whom are beloved fairy tale heroes. When a big bad wolf in search of pigs accidently blows down their house, the kids must bravely journey through the forest to grandmother’s house. “Insomniac Society” plays in Indiana

The Chicago Street Theatre presents Insomniac Society on May 6 and May 9 in Valparaiso, Indiana, as part of the Blooms Showcase. In Insomniac Society, an overachieving and overbearing insomniac creates an online chatroom where fellow teens can pass the endless nights together in a virtual world of their own creation.
