“Rainbow Sprinkles” plays in Missouri

The University of Central Missouri’s Department of Theatre and Dance presents four one-act plays December 4 through 6 at Nickerson Hall’s Black Box Theatre in Warrensburg, Missouri. Stacey Lane’s two-hander comedy Rainbow Sprinkles plays alongside Christopher Durang’s Canker Sores and Other Distractions, O. Henry’s  While the Auto Waits (adapted for the stage by Walter Wykes), and L.B. Hamilton’s Buyer$ Market. In Rainbow Sprinkles, a well-meaning children’s entertainer tries to convince a conservative businesswoman that his birthday party clown act will not offend her politically-correct friends. Rainbow Sprinkles can be purchased at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or Smith and Kraus in “2010 The Best Ten-Minute Plays", an anthology published by Smith and Kraus.
