From June 15 to July 27,
Mariposa Theatre for Young Audiences in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is performing Sleeping Beauty.
In this sixty-minute comedy with audience participation with a small flexible
cast, the evil fairy sabotages a boring and romantic version of the often-told Sleeping
Beauty story to share why she had a grudge with the royal family. It
started when they didn’t invite her to a birthday party and continued when the
princess let the fairy’s pet frog loose. Go to www.mariposatheatre.org or www.facebook.com/mariposatheatre to learn more about this production. Playscripts, Inc publishes Stacey Lane’s
