On August 31, Cold Reads, Hot Scripts is hosting a staged reading
of The Emperor Penguin’s New Clothes at iO Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
In this one-act comedy for children, a stuck-up penguin and his eager-to-please
followers learn a lesson about believing in themselves and not succumbing to
peer pressure when they are tricked by a seal and a squid masquerading as
