From February 9 through 17, New
Conservatory Theatre Center is performing Snow
Queen in San Francisco, California. This hour-long
adventure for all ages is adapted from the same Hans Christian Andersen tale as
Disney’s Frozen. When the
cold-hearted Snow Queen breaks her magic mirror, shards of cursed glass are
used as weapons to turn people into the worst versions of themselves. A young
hero, armed only with a jar of warm wishes and giggle-inducing snickerdoodles, must
venture into the blizzard to rescue a friend. Go to www.nctcsf.org for more information about
the production. To preview a free sample of the play, buy the script, and obtain
production rights, call 1-800-333-7262 or visit publisher Pioneer Drama Service’s
website at www.pioneerdrama.com. For other comedic stage adaptations of beloved fairy tales and fables, as
